Once upon a time, the exhausted mother of a baby with the worst colic in baby history desperately needed to rest when her baby slept. Solicitors rarely noticed the hand-scrawled notes asking that they NOT ring the doorbell, and little neighbor kids wanting to see the new baby born on Halloween were too young to read. Inevitably, the door bell rang, the baby woke up screaming, and an already fatigued mom was robbed of the one chance to get some much needed rest.
I was that mom, and the colicky baby, now working on her PhD, rarely cries 12 hours a day.....but the memory of those sleep deprived day never left me; BabyKnobNots were my solution to scotch-taped notes that got blown away, rain soaked or weren't even noticed.
The desire for quiet when a baby is sleeping is so universal that BabyKnobNots have resonated across generations and cultures. BabyKnobNots are made in Littleton, Colorado at the foot of the Rocky Mountains. Each is hand-made, the sleeping baby image and messages unique to BabyKnobNots. Their creator is the mother of two kids, two rabbits and a gang of Pulik, the inspiration behind KnobNots.com the idea that started it all.
